Flag of the Orlov Revolt

The official flag of the Orlov revolt is that of the battalions of Lambros Katsonis, a Greek knight and Russian Colonel who led the forces under his banner, being the one shown above.

The Byzantine Empire was a provisional government which had been set to become a Russian ally headed by the Greeks, and centered in Constantinople, mentioned in Catherine the Great's Greek plan.
